On June 10th, a Georgia man by the name of Al Byrd got a phone call from a neighbor, telling him that his family home had been demolished by a bulldozer. It turns out that the demolition company was supposed to destroy another house on the same street, but they had only used GPS coordinates to record which house was supposed to go. Now, one would think that a responsible contractor would have made a note of, you know, the address before coming in with a bulldozer and plowing through a house full of heirlooms. anyhow, here’s a CNN video on the story. Yeah. I would anticipate we’re going to see some non-pointless litigation in the offing for once.
