TekTek Anonymous Will Never get Me

Bah. More of these things! in my defense, I made versions of these characters before and the then-available options were not satisfying to me. I’ll update this throughout the day with more of them too…

Rahann Gunderit Brauer, a very, very bad girl and el Uhlriko’s leetle sister. First, her as a Khorngor, second, her as a married woman at The Dragon’s Den, her husband Erich‘s establishment on Athgorond. I’ve always found this a particularly amusing notion: a Khorngor helping run a tavern on a flying castle… And third, her armored up as a Black Dragon officer. Killin’ is her calling, and she knows it.

And of course, an upgraded Erich Brauer. Sneaky git, illusionist, espionage expert and the Shadow Councilor. If we’re tektekking up the wifey, we might as well do the hubby too. He gots wierd taste in the ladies…

Gaston L’Honneur, the Red Councilor.

Adolf Lundgren, Steel Councilor and Chief of the War Council.

 Olegnya Yeltsin, the Green Councilor.

 Vanye Waverider, the Blue Councilor

 Randle, a targeteer.
Lester, centaur former slave/minion of Hotek with his head permanently encased in a helm. Also a snake-totem Druid.

Mirrim Brauer, Erich’s grown daughter from a prior relationship (no, Rahann ain’t her mommy).

Rusikis Gunderit, Skaven assassin and espionage agent.

Tovril Der GrΓΌn, Jade Wizard and Deputy Archmage of the Get of Oroboros.

I love it that she’s got a plate of food in one of them. πŸ˜‰

  2. uhlrik Says:

    You gotta eat, sweetie. πŸ˜‰

Actually, that’s in a phase of her life where she tried to be a bit domestic. It didn’t take.

“Actually, that’s in a phase of her life where she tried to be a bit domestic. It didn’t take.”

Uh-huh. You know it had that written all over it. Hence, my remark. πŸ˜‰

  4. uhlrik Says:

She’s not a tame hound-goat thingie, though for Erich she did try for a little while.

I really like the character of Rahann, actually.

Interestingly, she’s a mutant berserker with permanently blank-white eyes. Remind you of someone? Never mind that she has a lot less control than Brigitte and that she’s more than happy to go nutso.

  5. meta4life Says:

LOL! It’s not possible they’re related, is it?

  6. uhlrik Says:

Nawp. BTW, I just added several more, and there are more on the way…

  7. meta4life Says:

Please to supply link? I was a bad girl and didn’t bookmark. 😦

  8. meta4life Says:

Also, your TekTek-fu is obviously strong but I was wondering why all your Councillors are male? Is that a campaign-setting thing?

  9. uhlrik Says:

    LOL. Good girl.

  10. uhlrik Says:

They’re all male mostly because in the early stages of the formation of the body that eventually developed into the Dragon Brethren, almost the entire membership was male since it was a mercenary band in a land that’s roughly equivalent to renaissance-era Germany, and they’re still mostly a military organization. Most of the guys that went on to become Councilors were with the ‘Dragons from that formative early period – the War Council is made up of the leaders of the various branches of service. There are high-ranking females as well, for example Cassandra (psycho that she is) is the Seneschal of the organization, and their chief negotiator, Astarielle, is a girl as well.

  11. uhlrik Says:

Actually, he gets his taste in girls from Peter, the guy that plays him. πŸ˜‰

  12. meta4life Says:

Then you and Peter have some things in common. πŸ˜‰

Cans I requestify a Tek Tek?

If yes, I’d like one of Mercy, a toreador vampiress. She was short, pale skinned, green eyed, red haired. My icon is a drawing of her, so gives you an idea. (Yes, she has a nose ring and a chain that connects to an earring.)

Also, if you wanted to get really creative, you could do a couple versions of her. Mercy usually wore tattered jeans and a black leather jacket and a white wifebeater shirt underneat. Boots and a lead pipe completed her ensemble.

But she also went a little nuts (diablerie gone bad, yo) and ended up developing multiple personalities; ‘Mercedes’ was more mature, dressed in skirts and blouses and such, heels, wore her hair down, and was an accomplished violinist. ‘Pieta’ thought she was a Giovanni vampire (and may have been a past life regression of Mercy’s) and wore evening gowns and had her hair tied back severely and was kinda creepy.

Anyhow, just wonderin’ if you could bang them out when you get the free time and the itch to tektekify…

  14. uhlrik Says:

Well, the dude’s my best friend, and he’s been a pal of mine for ages.

  15. meta4life Says:

*nodding soberly* That would likely account for it, yeah.

  16. meta4life Says:

Well, just “Legends” might be a bit tricky since we had a game by that name at one time. The GM couldn’t keep up with it, so it just kinda faded away. That might make it confusing for some, I don’t know. It wouldn’t bother me — but then, I tend to pay attention, too. πŸ˜‰

The setting and rules system are unique enough that I’d feel very comfortable having it on the site, with two fantasy games ongoing and a third maybe trying to launch if the GM can ever figure out how to promote the darned thing… One’s an AD&D game and the other (two?) are using Fantasy Hero. A Warhammer game would be just the thing, I think.

I like “Legends of the Archons” as a title though. Sounds… epic. πŸ™‚

  17. uhlrik Says:

    will these do?

Mercy. There’s no lead pipe, but I figger a baseball bat’ll do in a pinch.

Pieta. If you clickify that one, you’ll see another gown that’s on the thing but not currently visible. You might like it better, but I thought this one was a bit creepier.

  18. meta4life Says:

Well… πŸ™‚ The best thing to do is ask — we’ve got some hardcore gamers on that site and I’m always amazed at what gamers will hang on to because they like it, in spite of all the “new and improved” stuff that comes along.

I wasn’t kidding about that AD&D game, btw — It’s 2nd Ed. AD&D (with the Skills & Powers add-on, I guess) because that’s what the DM used to design his game world, and that’s what he liked.

Plus… for out of print stuff, most of us are okay passing around borrowed e-copies, if you know what I mean. Get these folks excited enough about your setting and they’ll probably be willing to go an extra mile or three, just for the chance to play. πŸ™‚

So think it over. Maybe log back into the site and check out the changes since last time you were there. We’ve got 10 active games going and are just now launching our site wiki. πŸ™‚ It’s a good time to get involved, if you’re inclined.

  19. uhlrik Says:

If I were to run Warhammer there, I don’t honestly know what I’d do with it. I’d probably want to run stuff involving what’s going on in the New World during the wars that are happening in my Legacy of the Gods campaign, probably specifically Ludwig’s invasion of southern Naggaroth. The thing about the rules being out of date’s really secondary: as I already said, I don’t want to use that ruleset myself.

I’ll think it over. If I do decide to run something there, it probably won’t be Warhammer.

  20. uhlrik Says:

I’m not very familiar with or interested in Hero 5th, so you’re safe on that score.

  21. creativedv8tion Says:

Very cool; I did edit Pieta, as she wouldn’t have the nose ring and chain going on (she’s too classy for that, yo.)

Thank you for doing the work, tho. You da mang!
