Ask me no questions and I’ll tell you no lies.

Stolen from  whilst he was rappin’ with Jesus and his Twelve Homeys.

Name a CD you own that no one else on your friends list does.

Besta Polka,
by various artists (featuring Drew Carrey, Frank Yankovic and Al
Yankovic). It’s … well, it’s a collection of “that happy, snappy
music.” A rare horror, given that it was only released as a promo, and
it includes such classics as In Heaven There Is No Beer, Bohemian Polka and Who Stole the Kishka?.
A pal of mine (somehow) found a copy of this and sent it to me as a gag
gift. It’s hilarious. Once in a great while I’ll haul it out and listen
for a few chuckles.

Name a book you own that no one else on your friends list does.

Apuleius: the Golden Ass,
translated by Jack Lindsay. A wierd little Roman story about the
misadventures of a philandering, shapechanging fellow and the women
that loved him… in human as well as animal form.

Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no one else on your friends list does.

The Wizard of Speed and Time.
If anybody else on my list actually owns a copy of this
only-sorta-released bit of cult geek classicness, I’ll choke. If you
ever get a chance, watch it.

Name a place that you have visited that no one else on your friends list has.

I doubt anybody else on my list has managed to fast-talk their way up to the top of West Chop Lighthouse
in Vineyard Haven (on Martha’s Vineyard) even though the Coast Guard
guy said it’s off limits to visitors, or climbed to the bottom of the
multicolored clay cliffs at Gay Head
(man, ya just can’t make up names like that) on the same island…
which, I found out somewhere along the way back up the cliffs… is
apparently also off limits.

If that’s too obscure… The Kennedy Compound in Hyannisport, MA.

Name a piece of technology or any sort of tool you own that you think no one else on your friends list has.

Hm. Not much unique high technology, but I do have lots of odd bits
of art-gear tech, like brayers, a baren, a burin, a silkscreen, canvas
pliars, a set of stone rasps and cold-rolled chisels, etc…

The best name among my pieces of gear has to be the “twisted scribe”.
